Quite some weeks ago, I went to the Hypermart at IMM Building. The shopping experience seems to be fine & normal until I came to the vegetables & fruits department. I nearly fainted. Here's what happened...

Upon my first step into the "green sector", I was greeted by the many shoppers as usual. However, this particular station was VERY CROWDED. "There must be some very good deal here~!", I told myself. Indeed there is... Consist of both local & foreign shoppers, they were congregating to "sample" the lychee & mangosteen. According to one of the shoppers, they were allow to "test" the fruits in this particular station before "making their purchase", which explains why there are a few trash bags attached around this station. I could see that the shoppers were all very "helpful" with their "testing" or "sampling". I stood there for more than 30 minutes observing these people, and from the way I see it, these "shoppers" were more like "testers" rather than "buyers". Only 1 out of 30 in this station shows potential in buying these 2 fruits, but these rare customers seems to not really enjoy their shopping experience, from the look of their facial expression. I mean I have nothing against this marketing strategy of this particular company, but I'm more concern about the hygiene issue here. Know why~? Here's why~!!!

When a customer picks up a lychee (for example), he peels off the skin of the fruit enthusiastically and quickly places the long-anticipated juicy lychee into his mouth, but somehow the lychee's taste wasn't up to his expectation, so this customer spit out the lychee from his mouth onto the side of the station!!! And this is a typical practice that you can see around this particular station. Some even throw their spit onto the fruits. Can you imagine what if you had buy a bunch of lychees with potential spits on them~?!! *fainted* You won't like that right...?

I hoped that the management of the company will/had done something about this, since it's been some time now. Thanks, but no thanks...

Just when I thought that my new job would give me more free time, I'm actually more busy. Lesser time for fun, family & Jinglin... Hai~ Just like I had always said, it's not that I'm conplaining or what, it's good that I'm busy cos it means that business is good, but I miss out on so many things at the same time too.

Will this be a fair trade~? I admit that I'm more satisfied with this job than my previous one, and the pay is way better~! It's exciting & rewarding too... What am I saying~? Well I guessed everything comes with a price. Hopefully this kind of time consumption will decrease over time, just that the rest maintain can already~! ^_^Wahaha~! I know I am so greedy...
.
Anyway, I had passed my Graduate Diploma. Wahaha~! Such a great news, that's one more step closer to my Master Degree, but I guess I'll rest for the time being first. I think I'll only start earliest on 2008. Passing my exams meant a lot to me, but too bad Jinglin isn't there with me to celebrate. I missed her badly... Can only hold her in my arms on Tuesday...

I've started my Master of Business Administration program in the University of South Australia. I've also been promoted to join the management team as an Agency Development Officer (ADO). A challenging year awaits me now. It's a good year for investments, and also one to save a lot of money~!
