Recently Jinglin was introduced to a Japanese Soap Drama. It's a true story which happened at Japan last year. It's about this 15 year old girl (then in year 2005) Kifuji Aya, who had this deadly disease call Spinocerebellar Atrophy. In simpler terms, this disease affect the patient's ability to make even the basic movement. In the initial stage of the illness, the patient will stagger while walking, fell down often, unable to judge actual distance between objects. As the condition worsen, the patient will start to have difficulties in walking, writing & even talking... Eventually, the patient would be paralyzed. However, all this symptoms will not affect the patient mentally. And that's the part which I feel that this illness is so CRUEL~! Can you imagine how the patient would have felt throughout the progress, not being able to control the situation, and yet also cannot do anything about the situation. With the current medical standard of the world, there is still no available cure~! Even Japan, who seems to claim as the best in this field (As In the drama), could only slow down the progress. Meaning that, the symptoms would only get worse.
.
I'm expecting a lot crying form this drama. It happened sop that the patient was a very happy, filial and energetic kind of girl. Then the actress is some more very pretty & cute, which make the whole thingy even more unbearable~! By the way it's called 1 Litre Of Tears. I don't know if it's the official website, but it could be downloaded at
http://www.dramarific.com/1_litre_of_tears_main.html. There are 11 episodes in total, and I'm currently only on the 3rd.
.
Wouldn't comment much more on it, it's wouldn't be nice if I were to disclose everything to you. Anyway the purpose of this entry is that, I want express that I'm proud of the girl who tired to fight the illness. I'm proud of her spirit & the way that she had handled her illness, although I haven't seen how she did it completely yet, but I know~! So please peeps, like I always said, and had said before in my previous entry. Treat every minute you have as though it's your last, eat every food as though you'll never taste the same thing again, treat your parents well as though they'll be leaving you soon~! And last but not least, treat the person you love the best that you can, as he/she might not be always there... With that, I shall end this entry, with Love...

Today I did 2 things that I haven't done in years, like 10 years that long~!
.
The first was that I had to visit the dentist. Why~? Well, it's a long story. I had to go back at least 10 years. I can't remember if it's during my Secondary or Primary school days... One of my rear tooth was slightly chipped off~! Don't bother asking me how, cos I don't remember either~! So the pretty dentist put so sort of clay to overlay the hollow area of my poor tooth nicely. Everything was fine until recently, I think that's about a year now also, that the clay came off without the slightest warning. Well no big deal at first, until yesterday night... I cried~! There's this unique sharp pain when I had my dinner. That's when I decided that I had to see a dentist, REAL QUICK~! I'm that kind of person who Live To Eat, so "no eating" means "no meaning living" also~! ^_^Haha~! I'm exaggerating a bit here though, I think you get the picture...
.
So immediately after work, that's about 1200hrs, I rush from Clementi to Queenstown's dental clinic to avoid the lunch time off, if there's any. But to my hyper surprise, the counter lady just coldly said to me, "I''m sorry, we only do appointments. And the earliest appointment is on December." Not to be mean, but I was crying out loud "W.T.F" inside my head upon hearing that. I believed that not everyone is a regular customer to their dentist, right~? So how to make an appointment when I don't even know the number since I haven't gone to a dentist ever since I left Secondary school~? Crap~! Some more it's a government dental clinic... Should the concern department do something about this~? I don't know, what do you think~? Especially when emergency cases, like mine. They mean I can stop eating until December then they help me~? Yap, sure no problem... But I guessed I needed to pay a lot more extra, since they'll be doing my tooth at my tomb~! Not to be mean & sarcastic here, but I think it's a bit too unflexible~!
.
So lan lan (Meaning no choice in harsh Hokkien, sorry for my language here. Too furious over the incident already~!), I gotta seek other alternatives for my small problem... I then went to Ghim Moh area for help. My dad recommended there yesterday. I reached there at about 1300hrs. Wahaha~! Guess what~! It's freaking LUNCH TIME~! What luck~? Fear that my lunch would mean hell for me later during treatment, I dare not eat just before seeing the dentist. I guessed that we all had this fear with dentist. Maybe it's because they just look SCARY in some way... Although they're always in white, and are clean with those shiny metal equipments, but we're still scare~! Aren't we~?
.
Luckily for me, the dentist returned from lunch early. At 1340hrs, I met my savior. I think they too needed appointment, but at least the kind counter lady bother to check with the dentist on whether he had time for me. I mean, that makes a difference isn't it~? Better than just a cold, "Sorry, we only do appointments~!" *sigh* However seconds after I sat on the dentist chair, I start to regret already. Well it's not that painful anymore that I know, but still the fear in me feeds on me. Time and time again I caution myself that the pain is going to hit me soon, but it didn't. I was so tensed throughout the whole treatment~! I thought the ordeal was finally over, but that kind of comfort never last. When I reach home only, the clay start to crack already~! He had put too much clay on the sides of the tooth, and worst, he did not apply pressure like the previous dentist. I think I'll have to visit another dentist soon, but still I thank him for the effort...
.
The second special thing I did, was just before the dentist open his clinic. There was this stall nearby which sells original CDs made from China. Trying desperately to kill time & attention that the fact that I'm already VERY hungry (Still am now~! Haven't eat yet~!), I took a look. The guy was playing some songs of Lisa Ono. She's the older kinda singer from Japan, hear from him that she's coming Singapore soon for her concert. She is supposed to be quite famous, as according from him. Anyway I don't know her, and didn't take notice of what was playing. I was looking at the other CDs, especially the Paris Hilton one. After some time, I find the songs of Lisa Ono was quite smoothing and pleasant to hear, I bought it. It's of 2 discs. I got the Michael Jackson's hits too, and that's 2 discs also. The last disc was of Roxette's hits. 5 discs for only S$20/-. Good buy, I tell myself. It's been like more than 10 years since I last bought a CD. Those were the days that I'll go to Bugis just to buy a CD. Hmmmm.... Those were the days... However when I got home, the titles on the CDs were wrong~! PLUS, the Roxette's one was a disaster~! Some songs that were supposed to be in the CD were not there, however on the other hand, some that were not supposed to be there, were there~!
.
That's my day~! How entertaining...? I guessed I'll be looking forward to visit another dentist soon... Meanwhile, pray for me k. Just pray...

Recently, JingLin & I attended the wedding of Wai Keong & Soo Pin. Let's just first congratulate them, and wish them all the best. Anyway, their wedding was in the "Ancient Romen" style, like TROY. And guess what~? The bride was been carried into the hall by 4 big size Ang Mo (Meaning Caucasians in Hokkien) man~! Even the Media Corps came and there were 2 celebrities, they are Chong Qin & Wang Jian Fu. I think the wedding will appear briefly on TV, just that I do not know when yet... The entrance show was very touching man, and I guess those girls & women who attended the wedding would have benchmarked a rather high standard of their wedding in the future~! Hopefully JingLin didn't man~! ^_^Haha~! Kidding ya, kidding... *looking at JingLin*

The Bride Came Into The Hall On This Chair
.
Anyway, I got to meet up with a few of my rarely see secondary school friends. That's Wai Keong himself, Cheng Chun, Marcxs & Yong Chen. My best buddy Ise was also there of course. I haven't got the photos of WaiKeong & Soo Pin though, but I promise I'll put up the photo when I receive them. It was a really nice event, whereby not only I got to attend the wedding of my friends, I also got to meet up with my long time friends. Although we always do meet up during the Chinese New Year, to kill each other in our annual gambling session~! ^_^Haha~!

Marcus Left Early, So He couldn't Make It For This Photo Shoot
.
However it was also then that I realised that I had known this group of friends for 14 years, while I'm only 26 years old this year~!!! That's more than half my life already~! For Ise, that's 16 years of friendship already~! Man, am I old now~? Errr... Maybe those in their 40's and above might think that mine is chicken feet as compared to them, but still it has this impact on me... This only shows that life isn't really that short, but time do really flies by quickly. Are we really making full use of them, now we really got to think about it again...!
.
It's Been Near To 2 Years Now, And I'm Still Madly In Love With YOU~!
