Hmmm... I do not know what's wrong recently, as everything that I do for the past 2 weeks or so has got to do with The Sea.
.
Firstly, I cook cream pasta with some kinda pan fried fish. In the end the fish was DEEP FRIED though~! The taste wasn't what I expected, but it still could manage get a pass ya. I would be trying out again soon... Wahahaha~!
.
Then came all the seafood that I had from all sorts of restaurants and food centres. Fish, squids, calamari, mussels, prawns...etc. You name them. That's where most of my cash went to.
.
Even when I go out for sight-seeing, I went to Sentosa's Underwater World & Dolphin Lagoon. *DuHzZz*
.
The Birthday Girl~
.
Calamari Of Marche Just Look So Good~! *yummy*
.
Ham & Cheese Crepe... NICE~
.
Then lastly, just 2 days ago was Tina's B-day. We went to this Chinese restaurant (again~) @ Mirama Hotel to have our dinner. It was a A'La Cart Dinner Buffet. So guess what we ordered the most again~? Yes...! SEAFOOD~! Especially prawns~! Some Freid Oak-meal Prawns, Chilli Crabs and many MANY boiled live prawns~! Know what~? I ate too many of those prawns that I got allergy symptoms. Numbs on my back & cheek area. Not me alone, but also JingLin & Virginia. After our makan seesion ended, we went to somewhere near Yuan Ching Road for Prawn Fishing, or Fishing Prawns whatever you call that...
.
There was a total of 5 of us. Virginia with BF Alan shared 1 rod, Tina used one, while JingLin & I shared one. We were all rather unfamiliar with that, thus we did not do well. For the first 2 hours, we merely only hook up 5 pathetic small prawns as compared to the people there. There were so many times that the prawns managed to get away although they were hooked~! JingLin & I used tag-team tactic and it was really had fun~! She made the prawns got hooked, then I fish them up. It's funny how prawns are only attracted to her & not me~! Was it because that they could smell that I had already slaughtered a lot of their kind earlier~? Wahaha~! Anyway, what's more fun was to see how Tina look so DEAD SERIOUS when she was trying to fish with her "submarine fishing" technique. *private joke* Wahaha~!
.
One Prawn Only ! ! !
.
However, do you know embarrass we were when small kids could do much better than us~?!! Luckily during the last hour, one kind soul came to our aid. This VERY NICE uncle taught us many useful knowledge. From how to measure the depth, to what kind of bait to use for the prawns. He also gave us his own personal bait to use, instead of those not so tasty cockles. These prawns can be rather choosy huh~! He then patiently told us how to fish up the prawns sucessfully. From there, our results were then acceptable~!
.The Girls Enjoying Themselves
.
When the time was up, it was time for us to feast on our harvest~! BBQ pit, charcoal & wired mesh were provided. I must say that there were quite many nice & helpful people around, but there were still some who were rather hostile too. Anyway there's also this uncle who came with his family, give us to use his BBQ pit FIRST after he had started the fire for us. How nice~! Now back to our feast, the taste of the prawns were no really as nice as what we had expected. Kinda plain in taste, unlike those tiger prawns we normally ate. Still, it's the excitment we had during the process that made the event so enjoyable...! *WiNkZ*
.
That's Our Catch ! ! ! Wahaha~!

Wow, what can I say...? I think JingLin & I had kinda been living in luxury recently... For the past 2 weeks or less, I think we clock up to about S$1000/- man~! Now we're broke... *sob* Nope, nothing particularly exspensive was spent on V-Day. No roses or chocolates, no gifts too. That's due to I had to work that day. It's a blessing I must say, if not then we would be more than broke... Broken~? Wahahaha~! Ok, I know that's lame... ^_^"
.
So how that damage comes about~? Hmmm... I wondered too. Let's see...
.
Firstly, I took my parents & JingLin to Jurong West for some crabs~! The best dish of that evening was the Custard Crabs, as recommended before by Emily. I had to thank her for re-confirming the address for me. At first I still think that my parents will not like it, so we ordered some Chilli Crabs too, but it turnED out that my parents preferred the Custard Crabs also.
.
The rest to the money spent were feast time for me & JingLin...! We went to Fish & Co to have the Perri Prwans & the Seafood Platter at Jurong Point TWICE~! The second time we shared a DOUBLE Seafood Platter. Whenever I go to any Fish & Co, I realised that I only ordered the Seafood Platter, and nothing else. I guessed that's the only dish that attracts me. But hey, recently we saw the Fish & Chips and they kinda looks good too. We're gonna try that next time, but definately not soon...
.
The Single Seafood Platter
.
Beri Nice Peri Prawns
.
We also visited Spageddies @ Paragon too. We had Fried Calamari & Ceasar Salad as appetiser. The calamari still tasted as good with the sauce. JingLin Lasagne (Standard Drop-ed Man~!) while I had Seafood Sizzalini (POWER Lah~!) which is their best seller. Dining there oso kinda reminded me of the times when I work for this company, where I was posted at the Marina Square branch. Anyway that branch closed down already... But not because of me lah~!
.The Best Fried Calamari Now ! ! !
.
Then just yesterday, JingLin & I accompanied her cousin & boyfriend to Sentosa... We went ot the Underwater World & the Dolphin Lagoon. Kinda fun though. By just visiting these 2 places, they were already enough for us to spend our whole day there, and also they cost us a bomb. Oh I nearly forgot, there's this downhill kart riding which we played near to Palawan Beach. Damn FUN~! Too bad JingLin couldn't play cos she was wearing mini shirt, and she wouldn't want to show her... you know~! Anyway, while making our way up to the hill top, you'll have this nice view up in the sky, with your feets dangling in the air... Yeah, you hear me. Price wise, I can only say it's affordable, but not cheap at all. Still it's worth the fun... There's so many changes in Sentosa too, particularly one that surprised me. There's no more Monorail~! Does anyone even realised that~? I wondered why they do that, cos I that's one of the nice attractions there where you could tour around the island. And it's free some more~! Hmmm... *scratch head*
.
Her Very 1st Touch Of A Stingray, Alive~!
.
Then again, we march to Alexandra Village to have Seafood BBQ for dinner after Sentosa. Guess what~? Just the 4 of us, but there were more than 8 DISHES~! Yet we managed to swallowed down everything...!
.
Other than the above mentioned, there were numerous occasions where we took cab here and there also. That contirbuted a lot to the spendings too~! Haiz... I guessed that's about all for this entry. Eat well, and sleep well people. Most importantly, life is short so take some time to dote yourself as & when ya. But don't over-dote yorself too much, or else you'll become like me~! *sob*

During the CNY, if you were to walk on the streets or take any public transport, you would realise that you could hardly see any people around, especially during the 1st day of CNY. Although there are still a few people who had to struggle to work, like me... Anyway, that's when I ask myself something. I look around, observing at everyone, mentally asking each and everyone of them the same thing, "Where Are You Heading To...?"
.
It's funny how so many of us, who all came from different places with different perspectives in life, met at one point in our life. When you travelled around, it's common to see people sleeping at the bus/train/planes. One funny sight would be the whole row of passengers nodding their heads together as they continued to doze off...
.
Hwoever, why did I ask that question to everyone that I saw that morning~? Simply because, I believed most of them were wearing mask that day. Puzzled with what I'm saying~? Ok, please allow me to verified...
.
1st, there were the sleeping ones. Why did they appeared so exhausted~? Where did they go the night before, and what were they doing~? So where's the next destination for them~? When would I see them again~? Will I ever see them again~? Now, that's the big question...
.
Then, there were the happy looking ones. Be it while reading their magazines/newspapers, or those listening to whatever they had thru their ear-phones. Were they feeling happy~? If yes, what are you happy-ing about~? What seemed to be so ineresting to them that somehow tickled them that morning~?
.
The last common ones were so called the expressionless ones. These are the ones that I find most interesting. There were no tell tale signs on how that person was feeling, or even know where they would be heading to... Just like me, I was in these group of people that morning. I felt miserable to go to work during that holiday, my legs were so heavy, and my heart missed JingLin so badly... Now that I was expressionless, does anyone then knew how miserable I am~?
.
Maybe some people out there needed help, some might not even knew that they do. Some might be even to proud to ask for help. However my morale of this entry is... The next time when you're travelling and had nothing esle to do, why not take some time and observed the people around you, it doesn't matter if you know him/her. Just mentally ask that person, "Where Are You Heading To...?" Who knows, you'll find something interesting about him/her~! *WiNkZ*
