19.02.2005 (Saturday) was the Reunion Dinner for me & my bunch of Brothers, but too bad our BIG Brother Ise had to attend a wedding dinner, thus couldn't make it for the dinner with us. What a waste~?!! So in the end, JingLin & I went together with Jonathon, Freddy & Glen.

We had chose the Genghis Khan Restaurant, the Mongolian Teppanyaki, located at Orchard Nee Ann City. It was buffet style, which is rather suitable for us (The Guys), simply because we're all hungry plus greedy people. The price they placed outside was S$29.50++ per person, but when the bill comes, it's a freaking about S$45/- per person~! How the hell can the "++" ever add up to 50%~? Daylight robbery man~! Till now, I still don't know how they bill us one... *DuHzZz* Anyway, the food looks great. Yeah~! You bet I say only looks great, as they don't really taste that nice. I had always been wondering if they serve us tasty food, during the times when I passed by the restaurant, with the long queue and the tasty-looking food where you can see outside the window glasses. I think that's the trick man~! I felt so cheated~!

Yes, they do served expensive dish like Prawns, Crabs, Shark Fin Soup, Fresh Oysters and stuff... And that's where I'm angry about~! Here's why... Shark Fin Soup soup had always been my favorite, and I usually give high points for it. But there, it was just so "so so" only. It's rather plain in taste~! I only had 1 fresh oyster, as I don't like the taste. Not fetish with it at all... Don't need it to boost my physical too, if you get what I mean~! ^_^Wahaha~! Nah... Just kidding~! Haha~! Ok, serious~! Next, they served these cold weird crab, which I don't even wanna smell it. Jon taste it, and it's not recommended~! Prawns, arh... That's the interesting part~! What's a buffet without serving prawns right~?!! People always go for that, thus I guess the management might had thought so too. Here's their trick~! There's 3 types of prawns... 1st is the salad type. 2nd in the steam type, but it's icy cold ones. Weird huh~! 3rd they give you those BBQ ones, and I bet you think that's the one ya... You're so DEAD WRONG~! They purposely BBQ the prawns plainly first, then they sprinkle many many salt on the scales to finish the dish off. What the f**k right~? It taste very salty, and it had no taste at all, other than just plain SALTY~!

The whole day I was eating the Teppanyaki only, mainly the fish ones. I had to be fair, it's really quite tasty~! At last right~?!! But the lamb, beef & chicken were again, rather plain in taste~! Oh by the way, there's 2 types of fish for this, but I dunno how to explain in here. So, I can't tell you which is which then. JingLin didn't eat much. Mainly veggies, which were her favorite. All of us end our dinner with Ice Cream. Nothing special with it, it's like those Magnolia ones...

By the time we ended our dinner, it's quite late already. Couldn't make it to Desmond's house for dinner, again~! I was so busy that I forgot to tell him I'm not going anymore on that day~! *ops* So sorry~! Anyway, Orchard was having Chin Gay parade that evening. I didn't see it live before, it was the 1st time for both JingLin & I. We didn't buy any tickets, we just pop ours heads out off the panels of the multi storey car park of Nee Ann City. We only stayed for a while and we head for home after that.

End of the day, even though the food taste sucky & yet the high price, we had all enjoyed ourselves. Thus, it's not the food or event that matters, it's the accompany~! Too bad that Ise couldn't join us, but never mind ya, still got next year to celebrate together~! That's all folks, Cheers~! *WiNkZ*
